Specific Compentency Tests (PCE) 2025

Students may take PCE for a maximum of 6 subjects which they may freely select from all those that are offered.

International students (non-EU students or from countries having no educational agreement with Spain) whose studies can be recognised as equivalent to Spanish Bachillerato, are advised to take a minimum of 4 PCE subjects in order to apply to Spanish universities.

There are two types of questions, namely short/long-answer and multiple-choice questions. Short/long-answer questions must be answered in Spanish, and English translations are provided for multiple-choice questions.
